smile is the main reason for choosing to receive orthodontic care. If you have dental problems due to misalignment of teeth, or are self-conscious about your smile, receiving orthodontic treatment will greatly improve the way you look and feel.

We want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience. Dr. Jeffrey Roeder and his Asheville orthodontic team will create a specific treatment plan based with your goals in mind.

The best part of the discovery process is listening to your goals, and giving professional pros and cons to every treatment avenue. We have many patients who to travel to receive care from all around Western North Carolina including Weaverville, Candler, Fletcher, Hendersonville, and surrounding areas.

How Orthodontic Treatment Works

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable braces, like Invisalign, or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth into alignment.

You can now choose from brackets that metallic, or clear brackets which blend in with your natural tooth color. Orthodontic wires are far less noticeable than they used to be, and have been redesigned to move teeth faster with less discomfort. With the array of treatment choices, adults, teens and children can all experience treatments that fit their lifestyle.

Duration of Treatment

Duration of Treatment

A big factor of a successful treatment is you – the patient! Many things affect the orthodontic treatment timeline, including:

  • The patient’s age
  • Dental history, including prior treatments or oral surgery
  • Chosen orthodontic method (Invisalgn vs. traditional braces)
  • Personal goals for satisfaction

Involved and diligent patients often see quicker and more efficient treatment schedules. For young children, receiving preventative or early treatment can also help shorten the time they need to be in braces later on.

Before beginning your orthodontic care, Dr. Roeder will discuss all of your options, and provide an estimate for how long your full treatment may take. Dr. Roeder and the team will talk to you about the financial aspects of treatment, and customize your plan keeping your budget in mind. We also work directly with your insurance provider to make sure you are receiving the full benefit of your plan.

Please contact our office with any questions you may have. We look forward to helping you achieve a smile you love!
